NAME: Sesshu Tatsu (Americanized: Tatsu Sesshu)
NICKNAMES: Dragon, Asshole, Koibito (He refuses to answer who gave that to him.), Tengoku Tatsu (name in the band DIM), Tsu (pronounced 'Su' )
AGE: 27
SEX: Male, obviously.
BIRTHDAY: 1/1/1982

APPEARANCE: Tatsu is 5'11", 146lbs with black hair to the middle of his shoulderblades and occasional purple or blue streaks in his hair. That is a throwback of his past with DIM, and something he holds onto. With amber eyes (a light caramel color), for an Asian man, this has been hypnotic and was a part of his charm in DIM. Now, it's just something daunting he uses to his advantage when talking to his students. There is a scar under his chin which is about an inch and a half long, and has a hole in the right corner of his lower lip from a lip piercing. His skin is rather pale, but this is from not going out in the sun, and he keeps his sleeves down over his arms as much as possible. Tatsu chooses to keep covered as much as he can. He is also ambidextrous, and was often cheered on onstage for switching the guitar in his hand from left to right. His eyesight is perfect 20/20, and his hearing is also just as perfect.
At times, he would wear quite an ensemble of clothing, mostly Vivienne Westwood and Gaultier, or on his dress-down days, a pair of jeans and a button-up shirt. It always depends on his mood, which is either sour, grumpy, stoic or on a rare occasion, slightly happy. Necklaces worn are either something simple, such as a silver chain with a guitar pick, or elaborate as Darts or with crosses. Either way, one couldn't miss Tatsu walking down the hallway. His boots and/or his cologne (Bvlgari Black) are the first recognized, then his clothing. Tatsu wears sunglasses a lot, and sometimes, they would be in the classroom as well. He has a plethora of them. Also. He never wears the same thing twice together.

CAMPUS ACTIVITIES: Band/Orchestra
HOUSING: Off campus, a home he had bought flat out with garden and landscaping built in to his tastes. It is ocated two blocks North of the Perthshire Opera House.
STRENGTHS: His passion for music which he instills in his students that influences them to pursue their dreams. . .if it deals with music only. Fluent in Japanese and English (bilingual), computer literate, especially when it is a music program, worked with sound boards and technical equipment for eight years, and on a personal level, drifting cars, and more importantly, plays guitar, shamisen, koto, harp, and piano. His own music, playing koto or shamisen in his garden nightly (it is a regular schedule for him so that he may be able to meditate), collecting his own memorabilia from his band, which is all in his garage, displayed like a completely separate room and kept at 70 degrees consistently. Gardening, bonsai, museum visits, and his attire is a hobby.
WEAKNESSES: Historical art from his home, Opera, the bond he has with Hitsugi Ai, his instruments, any mention of his old band, "DIM", which he was in for five years (2004-recently disbanded). Any delving into his private life, and Tatsu either goes quiet or ballistic. It depends on the subject. Emotional Instability in any social relationship, or personal relationship. Tatsu is a very private person, and prefers to keep it that way.
WEIRD QUIRKS: First Impression: The very first impression one gets from Tatsu, is that he is a hard-ass, and a complete jerk. That is, if they aren't his elders or employers. In that aspect, he is respectful, but rarely smiles, and speaks in two or three word sentences.
Behaviors:At school: Aggression, passion (with music and one person only.), anger, quick to judge, hot-tempered, impatient, unless a student is good enough to receive his attentions. At home: Quiet, subdued, thoughtful, relaxed, even-tempered. On both accounts, he does NOT like to be touched, and flinches when he is. Very intelligent and quick-witted.
PERSONALITY: The best way to describe his personality is "Split". When in a crowd of people, or in a social situation, Tatsu comes off as a complete and undeniable asshole. Insulting someone if they have insulted him is the best way to get his own kind of revenge, as it makes him uncomfortable being around people in general, so, Peering into Tatsu's personal life = A living Hell on the other person's life. The only kind of person Tatsu could handle near him is someone who gives him hell back, and isn't afraid to open their mouth around him. Be a real person, not a plastic cookie cutter. He keeps himself closed off from outside influences, and barely speaks to his family as is because of shame.

@age 22, graduated Tokyo University with Honors and courses finished for going overseas to take classes at Harvard, recommended by the Dean.
@age 22-23: Received his M.A. in Teaching at Harvard (he took the Arts in Education program and Human Development in Psychology), began the band DIM then.
@age 22 - 27: Began the band "DIM" while attending college and finished off at age 23. They toured over the summers, and for their last four years together. DIM disbanded due to "solo projects". In all actuality, they couldn't get along with Tatsu, even with the two awards given.

Sakano Hito was someone who Tatsu had a lot of respect for and loved while in college. They were together for about a year, and though Sakano treated him kindly, he was a part of the lower Yakuza called shateigashira, and his father was oyabun, a higher ranking under the Yamaguchi-gumi. One night, he had promised Tatsu a night out, and to meet him in a parking garage near the University. Showing up, Tatsu found Sakano waiting for him, and before he could reach for the man, Sakano had two men grab Tatsu, one to hold him down, and the other had raped Tatsu while Sakano watched. Tatsu hadn't been the same since.
Education: M.A. in Music Appreciation, Composition, Comphrehension, Performance, and Production in Coordination. M.A. in Teaching. Attended Tokyo University for the Music Portion of his degrees and Harvard University for his teaching and psychology.
